The U.S. Department of Defense Selects CollegeWeekLive to Produce Virtual College Fair for Military Service Members

Boston, MA (September 2, 2015) – CollegeWeekLive, the leading website where students and colleges chat online, is proud to announce we have been selected by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) group to host a virtual college fair increasing educational opportunities for military members, veterans and their families. Together, the DoD and CollegeWeekLive are supporting service members and their families in achieving their educational and career dreams.

Through CollegeWeekLive, military members, veterans and their families can connect live with colleges and universities at a virtual college fair. Service members and their families will be able to ask their questions through text chat to admissions reps as well as to other military members that have already gone through the process. They can also watch video presentations to gain free advice on returning to school and accessing unique financial aid programs. Event participants can explore certificate as well as associate, bachelor's degree, and master's degree programs—and gain the expert advice to pursue these goals.

"CollegeWeekLive offers a platform that will give service members an inside look at college even if they are serving abroad," said CollegeWeekLive President Sumant Mauskar. "We're proud the Department of Defense selected us to help our country's military achieve their highest aspirations."

More details about the virtual college fair and how to participate will be released shortly.
