Management Team

Robert is a seasoned entrepreneur having successfully launched and built three different Internet/Digital Media companies. He has a proven track record developing strong management teams, implementing corporate, financial and operating policies, and establishing important industry partnerships that helped build companies to highly profitable leadership positions. Robert is considered one of the leading experts in the virtual event industry, having been interviewed or quoted by such media outlets as ABC World News Tonight, New York Times, BusinessWeek, CBS, Fox, NBC, USA Today and The Washington Post.

Prior to PlatformQ, Robert was a co-founder of iCongo, Inc., which merged with Hybris in 2011 and was acquired by SAP earlier this year after growing to becoming the largest privately held ecommerce solutions provider. Robert was responsible for all sales, marketing, and business development activities. Robert established and managed relationships with many of the firm's key customers and partners, including The PGA of America, The National Hockey League, The Timberland Company, Callaway Golf, AOL Time Warner, IMG (International Management Group) and many others.

Robert was early advisor and served on the Board of Directors for Navic Networks, a leading addressable advertising and interactive television technology provider to the cable and direct broadcast satellite television industry. The company was acquired by Microsoft in June 2008.

Prior to iCongo and Navic Networks, Robert was Director of Corporate Finance for Primedia Inc., the business-to-business media and publishing company backed by Kohlberg Kravis and Roberts ("KKR"). During his three years with the company, Robert helped Primedia raise over $1 billion and was involved in the company's acquisition program. He was also actively involved in shaping Primedia's initial Internet business strategy.

Robert is a graduate of McGill University and received his MBA from Columbia Business School.

Hal Garnick is co-founder and Chairman of PlatformQ, a leading producer of online live, interactive events in medical education (PlatformQ Health) and college admissions (CollegeWeekLive). Hal is the managing partner of several real estate companies. Over the past twenty-five years, Hal and his affiliates have owned and operated over 45 commercial real estate properties in numerous communities. Mr. Garnick has had a successful track record of acquiring, financing and operating various entities. Hal is a member of the Executive Board of the Anti-Defamation League in New England and a National Commissioner of ADL, serves on the Board of Jewish Family & Children's Services, and their Strategic Planning Committee, member of the Board of Community Caring and Social Justice for CJP, and a member of the Milton Academy Parent Donors Committee. He is a former Trustee of the Rashi School as well as past Chair of Boston Children's Hospital Heart Council. Hal is a graduate of Boston University's School of Management.

Anton den Boggende directs all finance, legal and internal IT activities for CollegeWeekLive.  He brings more than 25 years of executive-level finance and operations experience in healthcare and high-tech industries.  Prior to joining CollegeWeekLive, Anton served as CFO at InfoMedics and helped drive its successful merger with Physicians Interactive. Prior to Physicians Interactive and InfoMedics, he served as Corporate Controller at Lionbridge Technologies, where he assisted in its IPO.  He has also held various senior-level finance positions at Sybase and at Deloitte, where he served in various audit capacities both domestically and in the Netherlands.  Anton graduated cum laude with a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, is a certified public accountant (CPA) and foreign specialist (equivalent to Dutch Registered Accountant).

Vice President of College and Consortium Partnerships Michael Garvin works closely with colleges and universities in the US and abroad, government agencies, embassies, and a variety of consortiums to support their student recruitment efforts. Focused on developing new avenues for partnerships while continuously leading the sales organization in performance, Mike is very proud to have been a part of the CollegeWeekLive team since the beginning. Prior to CollegeWeekLive, Mike held roles in Government Relations, Sales Operations, and Training at Monster.com. He holds a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and resides in Boston.

Vice President of Audience Marketing and Analytics Brock Tibert oversees marketing, communication and positioning of CollegeWeekLive products and solutions. Prior to CollegeWeekLive, Brock spent over 11 years in various leadership positions in Enrollment Management at Bentley University, focusing on recruitment strategies to shape undergraduate enrollment. He holds a B.A. in Economics and a M.S. in Finance from Clark University and resides in Waltham, MA.
