Fisher College is a private institution granting bachelors in communications, media studies, human services, management, and psychology and associates degrees in business, education, fashion, general studies, health care, hospitality, tourism, IT, law, liberal arts, and psychology. Students can also earn certificates as medical assistants and medical coding. The school’s online degree program is highly regarded, and was named the 12th best in the nation. Additionally, Fisher is dedicated to educating military service members through its Military to Management program, which offers special benefits to veterans and active military personnel. To help students succeed, Fisher offers a semester-long course called the Common Experience that supports them as they transition from high school to college. Instructors and peer mentors support students through academic and social activities that help equip them with the skills needed for college life. Students participate in many campus activities, including the community outreach program the Common Good Club and the student-run literary publication. Students compete in six varsity sports, including men’s basketball, women’s basketball, softball, baseball, men’s soccer, and women’s soccer.
