CollegeWeekLive Partners with Ventures Scholars Program to Help Promote Higher Learning for Young Adults

Non-Profit Focused on Promoting Access to Higher Learning Leverages Benefits of Virtual College Fair

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CollegeWeekLive (www.collegeweeklive.com) today announced their partnership with Ventures Scholars (www.ventures.org) a national nonprofit membership program designed to promote access to higher education for young adults interested in pursuing math- and science-based careers. Targeting high achieving underrepresented students and first-generation college-bound students, Ventures Scholars Program is partnering with CollegeWeekLive to provide its members with the ability to connect with students and admissions officers from leading colleges and universities in the US and Canada.

"Never before have we been able to provide the ability to "visit" multiple colleges in just two days," said Carmen Andoh, Coordinator for the Venture Scholars program. "CollegeWeekLive has opened the door for so many of our members who otherwise would not have the ability to access and research such a broad range of colleges and universities. This event will significantly increase opportunities and enhance the process of choosing a college that best meets our students' needs and educational goals."

CollegeWeekLive, the two-day virtual college fair connecting thousands of high school students with colleges in an interactive environment, offers students, their parents, and guidance counselors the ability to experience the college admissions process like never before - online. This unique medium provides the best opportunity to review more colleges in more regions in less time and at no cost.

"We are very excited to be partnered with Ventures Scholars and assisting their members by providing better access to colleges and universities as well as experts in the college admissions process," said Robert Rosenbloom, CEO of PlatformQ, producer of CollegeWeekLive. "This partnership exemplifies our commitment to helping associations and programs like Ventures Scholars to better serve their communities."

CollegeWeekLive will take place on November 13th and 14th from 3:00 EST to 11:00 EST. High school students, parents and guidance counselors can register for free and apply for the $1500 CollegeWeekLive.com Scholarship Program at www.collegeweeklive.com.
