Q. What is CollegeWeekLive?

A. CollegeWeekLive is a free, online event designed to connect prospective students with colleges and universities in a live, interactive environment. CollegeWeekLive is held several time s a year. The next CollegeWeekLive college fair is scheduled for Wednesday, March 24th and Thursday, March 25th, 2009.

Q. What will I be able to do at CollegeWeekLive?

A. Attendees will be able to navigate through a virtual exhibit hall and visit virtual booths of over 200 colleges and universities where they can chat live with admissions officers and students. An auditorium will offer live video presentations – and real time q&a – with leading experts on admissions and financial aid. CollegeWeekLive will also offer scholarship resources, networking capabilities, prizes and special discounts from event sponsors and participating organizations.

Q. Where is CollegeWeekLive located?

A. CollegeWeekLive is held completely online; just log in at www.CollegeWeekLive.com.

Q. What colleges will be represented at CollegeWeekLive?

A. Over 300 colleges and universities from across the US and abroad will have representatives at CollegeWeekLive. For a list of schools, please visit our Colleges page.

Q. When will CollegeWeekLive be held?

A. The schedule for the 2009-2010 school year is below. After the live portion of the fair, content from the virtual college fair will still be available, but in archive form. During this archive period, users will be able to download documents and watch on-demand presentations.

Q. When can I register for CollegeWeekLive?

A. You can register for CollegeWeekLive for free right now at www.CollegeWeekLive.com.

Q. How much will it cost to attend CollegeWeekLive?

A. CollegeWeekLive live is free! All you need to do is register.

Q. Who will attend CollegeWeekLive?

A. Students, parents, and guidance counselors will be attending this event. College booths will be staffed by admissions officers and, in some cases, students from the college itself. Admissions experst will provide several relevant Keynote Presentations. There will also be a student chat area where current college students will field questions about their school and the admissions process.

Q. I’ve never been to an online virtual show, how does it work?

A. CollegeWeekLive is an online college fair. It has all the benefits of attending a college fair, only instead of having to travel to the show, you can attend from the comfort of your home or office. You can visit booths, and interact with presenters and attendees just as you would at your typical conference. The difference is we bring the fair directly to you!

A. CollegeWeekLive offer the following tools to assist students in their college search:

Q. Can I come and go as I please?

A. Absolutely. Attendees can come and go as they please, visit the booths and sessions that interest them most, and spend as much time as they want in any area of the exhibit hall.

Q. What are the technical requirements for CollegeWeekLive?

A. As we know, the show is accessible by a PC or Mac in any browser (IE, Firefox, Safari).   The show is not accessible using the AOL Browser.

You must have Adobe Flash installed on your computer. Most computers come with this installed but you can download the most updated version for free at www.Adobe.com.

All pop-up blockers must be turned off. Pop-up blockers can be in a browser (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.) AND/OR in a menu bar (Google, Yahoo, etc.). Please check both.
