New College Partnerships Representative

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field acceptable.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience in business, sales or marketing.
  • Knowledge of colleges and universities and the admissions process a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, along with strong relationship building a must.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM database application strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage pipeline and forecasting sales.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform outbound tele-prospecting and deal development, including setting up appointments, doing demonstrations on the phone, and closing initial deals with new prospects for CollegeWeekLive.
  • Follow up on light qualified leads generated by out-bound e-mail campaigns.
  • Research and outbound cold calling on accounts.
  • Participation in trade shows and other events.
  • This role will include using SalesForce to document contacts and great communication via both email and telephone.

Interactive Marketing Manager, CollegeWeekLive

CollegeWeekLive seeks to add a full time Interactive Marketing Manager to our team. This person will report to the Chief Marketing Officer within a fast-growing startup environment. The ideal candidate must have experience with email marketing, strong analytical skills and must be a team player, energetic, and able to juggle a variety of time-sensitive projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive audience acquisition and attendees to CollegeWeekLive, with clear goals relating to numbers of registrants and numbers of attendees.
  • Drive attendees from current CollegeWeekLive registrant database through the use of email and text marketing. This includes the development of segmentation strategies, marketing assets, testing strategies and campaign analysis.
  • Drive audience acquisition from participating colleges through the development of targeted marketing campaigns, including developing emails, landing pages and best practice marketing services.
  • Analyze and recommend website changes based on campaign performance and channel requirements.
  • Perform data analysis to find trends and make recommendations.
  • Monitor industry changes and translate those into actionable marketing recommendations.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • Previous email database marketing experience including developing segmentation and testing strategies that yield measurable performance improvements.
  • Previous experience managing online partner marketing programs is preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze and optimize campaign performance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to see how details fit into the overall picture.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Product Developers, PlatformQ

PlatformQ is the leading producer of live online events -- and is seeking 2 developers to play a key role in building the company�s virtual event platform features and products.

The two developers will include: 1) a front end applications developer and 2) a developer who specializes in server-side scripting. The company�s produces events in the education and healthcare industries which draw attendees, sponsors and thought leaders from around the world. Events include CollegeWeekLive, the world's largest and most successful college fair; CardioCareLive, an online CME conference held in collaboration with Johns Hopkins for healthcare professionals who work with patients with cardio-metabolic risk factors; as well as other events in the education and healthcare areas. PlatformQ has launched the first generation of a revolutionary online event model to deliver unique and valuable content using the latest video, networking and Web 2.0 technologies. The successful candidates will play an integral role in shaping the next generation of the company�s virtual event experience -- by building a range of platform features and modules. The position requires highly motivated individuals who possess a solid, baseline familiarity with technologies at the OS, development, web services, and database level. The candidates should have a strong interest in online media, interactive marketing, and next generation web technologies. Expertise in online video and HTML5 are highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Build, launch and complete product and feature enhancements to the platform -- providing advice, oversight, and development direction.
  • Assist in evaluating and selecting component technologies that are appropriate to incorporate into the PlatformQ virtual events platform.
  • Oversee performance and QA testing on the product platform, across all events.
  • Create technical requirements based on business and product needs.
  • Collaborate with the company�s web design agencies -- to create and upgrade the company�s web site, as well as virtual event-specific web sites.
  • When appropriate, serve as the company�s technical liaison with technology partners -- overseeing integration, service relationships, and monitoring product improvements.

Skill Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience developing Web 2.0 online media sites -- specifically those that include online video, webinars, podcasts or other online rich media.
  • A demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with various priorities.
  • Proven individual contributor and collaborative team player -- must have the ability to work effectively in a "roll up your sleeves" start-up culture.

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with databases: MS SQL Server, or other SQL experience such as mongoDB, Postgress
  • 2+ years experience in front-end web development technologies: PHP, RUBY, Cold Fusion, HTML5, and cross browser compliance most critical. HTML/DHTML, CSS, JavaScript/Jquery, AJAX, Python, Flash also important.
