CollegeWeekLive has an entire department dedicated to the success of high school counselors around the world. This enthusiastic team of specialists work closely with counselors to help them increase college access for their students.

Hello Counselors! My name is Danielle Cohen and I am the High School Partnership Specialist for high schools in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic part of the United States. As a native of the New England area, I graduated in 2013 from the University Of Massachusetts, Amherst! I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Education. After working as a student teacher, I realized my passion for helping college bound students achieve their goals. I love connecting with guidance counselors and showing them the resources that CollegeWeekLive has available to help students find the perfect school for them!

Zia Kanner is the High School Partnerships Specialist for the Southeast region at CollegeWeekLive. Zia grew up outside of Boston and then earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut as a double major in Psychology and Women’s Studies. Zia was a camp counselor for years, and has always loved working with high school students and getting them prepared for their next steps.

Hello school counselors! My name is Charlie Bain and I am the High School Partnership Specialist for the Southwest region and Hawaii. So I guess 'Howdy' and 'Aloha' would be more appropriate than hello, I hope you'll forgive me - I'm a Yankee. Born just outside Boston I graduated from Westfield State University, but not before completing stints at Ithaca College and Framingham State University. It goes without saying that I could have used CollegeWeekLive when I was a student! Since Graduation in 2010, I have been working in Residential Life, first at Westfield State University (Go Owls/Squirrels!), then at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi (Go Islanders!) as a Graduate Residence Director and Area Coordinator, respectively.

I loved college so much that I really want to help students connect with the college of their dreams. I attended San Francisco State University where I was a Broadcast Communications major. For graduate school, I attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles (Beat Gonzaga!). In the past, I worked with Los Angeles Unified School District and Loyola Marymount University's Theatre Arts program. I spend my free time helping out College Summit, USC's Best Tech Practices, and EdBoost's V Source program. Also, I am proud member of WACAC. You may find me at conferences as an occasional presenter on technology and social media.
