CollegeWeekLive has an entire department dedicated to the success of high school counselors around the world. This enthusiastic team of specialists work closely with counselors to help them increase college access for their students.

Hello Counselors! My name is Danielle Cohen and I am the High School Partnership Specialist for high schools in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic part of the United States. As a native of the New England area, I graduated in 2013 from the University Of Massachusetts, Amherst! I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Education. After working as a student teacher, I realized my passion for helping college bound students achieve their goals. I love connecting with guidance counselors and showing them the resources that CollegeWeekLive has available to help students find the perfect school for them!

Zia Kanner is the High School Partnerships Specialist for the Southeast region at CollegeWeekLive. Zia grew up outside of Boston and then earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut as a double major in Psychology and Women’s Studies. Zia was a camp counselor for years, and has always loved working with high school students and getting them prepared for their next steps.

My name is Maxine and I am the high school partnership specialist working with counselors in the Midwest. I earned my BS in Elementary Education and MS in Computer Information Systems. I have twin daughters who attend the Savannah College of Art and Design and a son in high school. Having just been through the college search process myself and wishing I had known then what I know now, I love sharing CollegeWeekLive and the new Advisor Center with counselors who are helping students through that exciting process. In my free time, you can find me in the gym, on the golf course, or traveling from one to the other!

Hello school counselors! My name is Charlie Bain and I am the High School Partnership Specialist for the Southwest region and Hawaii. So I guess 'Howdy' and 'Aloha' would be more appropriate than hello, I hope you'll forgive me - I'm a Yankee. Born just outside Boston I graduated from Westfield State University, but not before completing stints at Ithaca College and Framingham State University. It goes without saying that I could have used CollegeWeekLive when I was a student! Since Graduation in 2010, I have been working in Residential Life, first at Westfield State University (Go Owls/Squirrels!), then at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi (Go Islanders!) as a Graduate Residence Director and Area Coordinator, respectively.

I loved college so much that I really want to help students connect with the college of their dreams. I attended San Francisco State University where I was a Broadcast Communications major. For graduate school, I attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles (Beat Gonzaga!). In the past, I worked with Los Angeles Unified School District and Loyola Marymount University's Theatre Arts program. I spend my free time helping out College Summit, USC's Best Tech Practices, and EdBoost's V Source program. Also, I am proud member of WACAC. You may find me at conferences as an occasional presenter on technology and social media.

My name is Jennifer and I am the high school partnership specialist for international counselors. I love to travel, experience different cultures and I always have an adventure in the works. I hail from the sandy beaches of Florida and I am proud to be a two-time graduate of the University of Florida, GO GATORS! If I'm not at a football game wearing orange and blue you can find me salsa dancing, my true passion in life. I've explored over 24 countries so far and I have been fortunate to study abroad in both Australia and Italy. With my undergraduate in Public Relations, masters in International Business and experience working in international education, I look forward to working across the globe uniting counselors, students and universities through CollegeWeekLive. Through our amazing college access resources, I truly enjoy helping counselors and students feel prepared and excited about the opportunities in international higher education! I'll see you at our next event!

Hello counselors! My name is Marc Bedine and I am a marketing specialist on the High School Partnership team. I create and distribute the emails we send to counselors before our events. I also help to on-board counselors who are new to our free resource. I am very excited about the new CollegeWeekLive Advisor Center, which allows counselors to request online meetings for their students with colleges and universities from across the country and internationally. It's something that I wish my counselors had when I was in high school! I graduated from Westfield State University in 2009 with my BA in Communications and I am a huge Boston sports fan. I am looking forward to helping counselors improve their student's college readiness, and look forward to seeing your students participating in our next event!

Greetings everyone! My name is Elizabeth Crouch and I'm the High School Partnerships Manager at CollegeWeekLive where I work with a wonderful team to support school counselors in their college readiness efforts. Prior to joining CollegeWeekLive, I spent four years managing college access campaigns at the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and one year directing educational initiatives at the Indiana Afterschool Network. I earned my bachelors' degrees in Marketing and Accounting from the University of Dayton in Ohio. While I will always be a Hoosier at heart, I am excited to be in a new city enjoying all that Boston has to offer, especially the "wicked famous" east coast accent. Just don't expect me to cheer for the Patriots anytime soon!
